Utah State $6,000 Grant for Buying a Newly Built Home

During the first quarter of 2009 the Utah State Legislature authorized approximately 1,600 grants of $6,000 each to buyers of newly-built, never-occupied, single-family homes. As of June 8th, 2009, only 212 of those grants remain available. They are being issued very quickly and will soon become unavailable. However, it is possible that a special summer legislative session may authorize additional funds.
